Marketing Program
Verishot’s strategic marketing program is comprised of interactive components that enable the golf course to: capture golfer videos on the course and display the videos on Sharegolf.com; communicate with and market directly to its golfer membership; offer exciting golf shot contests; and promote the unique features and benefits of the program to golfer members.
Verishot works with a course to develop the appropriate program that best meets its needs. A course buys the video camera system and a license for its landing page on Sharegolf.com.
Program components include the following:
Video Capture – Verishot provides a uniquely configured video camera system to capture hi-definition video of the golfer’s swing and the ball at the hole. Each golfer receives a ticket with a bar code number that is scanned at the video system and then used to claim the video on Sharegolf.com.
Sharegolf – The golf social networking site www.sharegolf.com enables golfers to view, share, rate and discuss their golf swing videos, and communicate directly with the course, pro staff and other golfer members. The course can distribute customized messages to golfer members via its own landing page, blog posts, surveys and e-mails as well as download golfer member data.
Advertising Opportunities – Courses can advertise offers on the golfer tickets and through Sharegolf communication tools to drive golfer purchases at the course.
Golf Shot Contest – Verishot provides the prize insurance for Hole-In-One (HIO) and other golf shot contests, and through Sharegolf, winning shot videos are verified and posted.
Promotional Tools – Verishot provides the course with tools to help promote its presence on Sharegolf and HIO contests.
Marketing Best Practices – Verishot provides tools to help courses conduct effective social networking, HIO contest and general marketing practices in order to realize the benefits of the Verishot program.
Client Support – Verishot provides assistance with implementation and remote phone and online support 15 hours per day, 7 days a week.
Through Sharegolf site reporting and by tracking offer redemptions, a course can determine its return on investment as well as learn valuable information from golfer survey feedback.
