Challenge Ticket
The golfer receives a ticket to participate in the Verishot challenge. This ticket has a front and back portion comprised of three panels each. Four of the panels are reserved by Verishot. Two of the panels may be used by the event or the golf course for advertising or local promotion. Further the panels may have perforations to allow for detachable coupons. We assist the event coordinator in determining potential promotional or advertising vehicles using our experience with other events. Veris
hot bears all of the costs of printing the tickets.
Prizes and Awards
Verishot bears all costs of the program including prize costs and ticket costs. Prizes for holes-in-one are paid in cash. Gift award prizes are paid through sponsors or the golf course. These prizes can be customized to each event or golf course based on the goals and objectives of the event.
For example, a local sponsor of the event may provide prizes of hard or soft goods. The ticket can be perforated to allow for coupon redemptions. Since Verishot pays for these prizes, effectively we are subsidizing activity through the sponsor. Courses may also use these awards to spur activity in other related areas. For example, a golf management company may pay prizes in the form of free golf at any golf course under the management company umbrella. In this case, the course is absorbing no cost and is spurring revenue underwritten by Verishot.
In all of these cases, the golfer will typically spend at least 30% to 100% more when redeeming these prizes which go directly to the golf course or related company.
Web Video Posting
All hole-in-one winners are posted to our golfer web site, winninggolfshots.com. All winning videos are posted to this site and the golf course will be prominently featured on the site. Various “call to action” opportunities will be available to visit the golf course web site, view the Verishot Challenge hole via Google Earth, or even book tee times directly.
