Components
The Verishot system consists of two main components located at the golf shop and at the Verishot Challenge hole. The golf shop application consists of a computer, a keypad/bar code scanner, and a promotional monitor. The technology at the hole consists of a video monitoring pole and a solar power pole. The poles are powder coated green to blend into the background. The domed camera gives the look and feel of a lamppost.
The power of the Verishot system is the high-tech IP Pan/Tilt/Zoom (PTZ) cameras. These cameras can be completely controlled remotely by Verishot customer service. Further, our proprietary video management software allows for rapid retrieval and review and can auto-render the video for rapid posting to our web site.
Installation and Maintenance
A Verishot system under most circumstances can be installed in less than two days. We require only minimal involvement of golf course personnel. Disruption of golf play should also be minimal. Training is provided upon completion of the installation by the Verishot installation team and a Verishot designated sales representative. Further, the sales representative will work with the course for promotional deployment and integration of the System into the golf course’s operations. There is minimal effort necessary for golf shop personnel; the tasks are simply bar code tickets and redeem prizes.
We provide all maintenance of the system. Most adjustments to the system can be performed remotely. Verishot video cameras are always capturing the activity on the tee box and the green. We use advanced video technology to zoom in on the tee box area when a golfer is in the tee box for an up close and personal view of the golfer and the shot. We publish select videos of winning shots on our website.
